I have been using Noraxon emg set (wireless zero lead DTS electrodes and wire ones)
Compatibility is good when you can export text and import text data files.
With importing text data options, you can process data generated from other system or capturing device. There are minor bugs from time to time (have been using it for 10 years) but they fixed them eventually.
I also use Delsys emg systems (quite good electronics but bad design in cabling). Those connections make the system very bulky.
Therefore, normally I just used self-made connection box to connect active electrodes from Biomatrics (low cost ones) and capture data by a NI A/D box.
After data collection, I may process the data with our own Mathlab codes or Noraxon software.
We have a 12 channel wireless system and I also have the footswitches, accelerometers, electrogoniometers and FW emg. It works very well and integrates with our Vicon system nicely.
I used it for an experiment with 10 participants and there were no major bugs.
At the beginning, we had some problems with wireless and external sync, but it came from a broken part in the transmitter and Noraxon fixed the problem without fees and in 3 weeks.
During the experiment, I did several trials for each condition and save a file after each condition. However, I have never found a way to instantly remove a trial when it was wrong, so I had to write it on a paper and remove it post-experiment.
Finally, I tested c3d and mat files in matlab and timeline was not exactly the same...
If you have more questions, you can ask me. I took a lot of time to test the Noraxon system and output files.
