It is well known that the the mechanical speed control requires a specific estimation of the flux which is dependent on the IM stator resistance. As a consequence, this estimation may face some problems because of the stator resistance variation. On the other hand, the value of stator resistance for electrical machine (with high power) is too small.

For the case of electrical machine (with high power), since the value of stator resistance is too small, has the stator resistance estimation a technical signification?
