I am proposing to deliver a community breastfeeding intervention and to use the IIFAS to compare attitudes pre- and post- exposure from a wide range of community members including senior secondary school students as young as 16 years.
I'm not aware of any study that has specifically included very young participants. Do you have a reason to believe that the tool needs separate validation when used for young people?
A valid point, Ruth. I'm wondering whether your proposed study population consists of very young mothers? If so, I would think that any tool used would have to be specifically tailored which in turn means carrying out a new validation. Good luck!
