Has anyone tried fusions from Peyer's patches?

I am curious to know if anyone has experience conducting B-cell fusions for hybridomas from Peyer's patches? If so, what species/strain, is there variability dependent on antigen, what administration route was used for injection (presumably IP?)....Any details on parameters and efficacy would be interesting. Thank you.

Hi Jennifer,

I did one fusion of PP from oral infected mice with Trichinella Spiralis and I end up with only one specific producing hybridoma (IgA)

So the rate of success was very low ...but we didn't use an extended immunization protocol.
