I don't know any research about this programme, but I guess they could be open to collaborate, in order to validate their methods. Perhaps conctacting with Tekman books would be a good idea.

I think there is no research on entusiasmat. It's the same with other relatively new innovative methods such as "ABN algorithms" or as the approach of Tony Martin (formerly CEIP Aguamansa in La Laguna) or Numicon (method on that there is research in UK, but not in Spain).
This is an example of how research in mathematics education is quite distant from the classroom and has its focus on publishing more than in transforming teaching and improving education.
