Hazards of nanomaterials arising from the activities of the production, use, storage and waste treatment is a recent topic as it addressed extensively by research centers and universities in the world since 2008. Accordingly, the knowledge is limited about the impact of nanomaterials on public health. This makes the process of developing an accurate assessment of risks is difficult, but what found so far shows that there are reasonable grounds for concern about the consequences of this activity, which could cause adverse effects on human health and therefore there is need and necessity to take temporary preventive measures pending the availability of more reliable data.
