Aedes lilii is the non-anthropophilic, sympatric sister species of Aedes bromeliae. It is morphologically identical to Aedes bromeliae but is said to be medically unimportant because it is zoophilic. Has it however been shown to vector any animal diseases? Because if it could drive the sylvatic cycles of Dengue and Yellow fever viruses, then it is still medically important.
