There is nothing new here. However, writing a guide to avoiding predatory journals has come up on my to do list. The guide is enclosed. It is a synthesis of many guides published on the web. The main point is that is is short on two sides of A4 and only ten characteristics. If anyone would like to comment, or give feedback on anything I have missed, anything that should be changed or could be improved I would be grateful.

Hello Chukwuebuka Egbuna, Thank you for the reference. I have edited the section on titles to warn against similar sounding titles and recommend always checking the website to make sure the journal is the one you think it is. BW Matt
