I want to learn how to use "THEORY IN RESEARCH PAPER". Please suggest some papers which provide step by step guidance (or tips) on integrating theory into the paper.
I suggest reading up on the following authors who covers theory and its use:
Silverman, D. 2005. Doing Qualitative Research: A Practical Handbook. 2nd Edition. Los Angeles: Sage Publications.
Silverman, D. 2013. Doing Qualitative Research. 4th Edition. Los Angeles: Sage Publications.
Perkins, J. 2011. Response to Chapter 1: Reflective Questions. In Davidson, A.W., Ray, M.A. & Turkel, M.C. 2011. Nursing, Caring, and Complexity Science for Human-Environment Well-Being. New York: Springer Publishing Company, LLC.
In the attached article we also integrated theory to study the criminal justice response to human trafficking.
Without being too trite I would recommend reading well written papers in your field and seeing how other authors do this. Sometimes the theory is chosen by the authors, sometimes it is an informed choice based on the cited literature. In either case it should be introduced, summarised and justified in terms of its relevance to the subject at hand.
Theory is based on past studies which forms part of the literature review in your own research article. If you are undertaking a deductive research, your objective is to test one or two of those theories via a set of hypothesis. Perhaps you can throw more light on what kind of research you are pursuing.
