Could anyone kindly share their experience regarding the determination of the growth curve of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) using OD600 measurements via spectrophotometry? I’m facing challenges in obtaining expected results due to the excessive turbidity, which seems to be caused by the insoluble phosphate source in the media. Currently, I’m working with both NBRIP and Pikovskaya media to optimize the most suitable one. Your suggestions based on personal experience would be highly helpful for me.
