Traffic congestion in cities especially during 'rush hours' has led to increased call for government intervention to provide a solution. Mass Transit systems have often been tabled as one and with it comes questions on its suitability. As expected such an idea is welcomed by city planners and "experts" while unpopular amongst city residents as it is deemed inflexible.
