I want to simulate a Grating-assisted coupler so I need a good software to simulate grating, now I used Rsoft-GratingMode but I did not get good results, I guess FDTD solutions Lumerical could help me but I am not sure and also am very short on time, can anybody help me?
What kind of coupling do you like to simulate (1D or 2D grating, planar waveguide or fiber) ?

The first tool is for modal analysis, the second tool is for diffraction simulation.
