Good morning one and all. I recently tried submitting a paper to a Journal. The submission process mandatory required suggesting one reviewer and one oppose reviewer. Is it a norm in Journal submissions? If yes, how should one choose reviewers since I do not personally know any experts in the field? I have been submitting papers to conferences and never found such conditions there. Now my request is could you please help me to find one reviewer and one oppose reviewer in the area of optimal location of distributed generation in radial distribution systems.
This is a quite uncommon request. What is an "oppose reviewer"? I suppose if you cite one or two authors a lot in your manuscript then it might make sense to let the publishers know those names, but otherwise it ought to be the journal's editorial board that does the search for reviewers.
