Myopia progression has become a major public health issue and its control has become a major concern. Several studies have been done and many are still in progress for the advancement of methods for myopia control. This article outlines literature on myopia control with a special emphasis on the role of spectacles in myopia control. Focus on different spectacle options for myopia control is the first choice for a person who requires vision correction as they are the most common and least invasive. The efficacy of myopia control spectacles options for myopia control is explored in the current scenario.
