Climate Change Performance Index is an independent monitoring tool for tracking the climate protection performance of 57 countries and the EU. It aims to enhance transparency in international climate politics and enables comparison of climate protection efforts and progress made by individual countries.

Thank you very much for the reply. Indeed it is an independent assessment for enhancing the transparency in climate change politics.
According to this report, there is an underestimation of the funds that need to be used to support climate financing in developed countries. Besides, the uneven and sometimes mismanagement of these funds in these countries are major challenges in mitigating the long-term impacts of climate change.
Money can be given to internationally recognized bodies rather to governments who may end up diverting the money to meet other urgent problems.
Value the inclusion of citizen and community participation from the early stages of financing planning, evaluation and control of results, through the use of ICTs, social networks and a transparent and inclusive communication strategy that includes environmental education. Encourage citizen participation in decision-making through a co-management system (cooperative management).
The Global Climate Risk Index is largely subjective and biased in methodology. The marking of South Asia as the most vulnerable part of the world is a market-driven compilation, aimed at a new market for Green Technology. Climatically, the region falls within the Tropics and Subtropic margins, where 1 or 2-degrees climate change scenario will not cause any significant change in adaptation strategies. However, the most climate-vulnerable regions of the world (Temperate countries) are bypassed from the index vulnerability (on the name of Green Technology) as they are a source of Green technology that needs to be sold in the markets of developing countries with large populations. The recent increase in extreme events on the coast of Western Europe and Northern America are unprecedented but marking these regions as most vulnerable on part of the climate change will not suffice the need of world market of Green technology. The hard reality is that the most vulnerable region of the world falls within the Temperate Environments and any 1 or 2 degrees climate change scenarios will cause large adaptation strategies which cannot be compensated at the present technology levels

Thank you very much for the reply. No doubt at present, there could be n number of theories postulated regarding the issues related to climate change to public health.
Scientists need to have to take a stand regarding their opinions based on their understanding of the phenomenon.
This, indeed, could be an arguable question which regions are more vulnerable than others?
However, this is also true that all the regions are vulnerable to climate change impacts which surely require regional administrations to take appropriate steps for its mitigation and adaptation.
