Recently I read an article by 'Wagdy Sawahel' on 05 September 2024, in the University World News: African Addition titles "How Africa can help to tackle global bibliometric coloniality?"
As time passes and world conflicts are becoming more aggressive and as the politican arena worldwide is impacting any dimension one can imagen [sports, education, economics, safety & security, etc.], of concern here is the actual Global Bibliometric Bias that is saliant in the countries located mostly in the southern hemisphere of the earth. The call nowaday is to establish new indexes that provide a balance and fairness. What do you think? Are you as a researcher, expert, professional, etc. with such a move?
Note: Read along the rference articles.
