Paulo Freire (2007) contends that all education is political. Given this how has the role of the researcher changed and to what extent is politics shaping, limiting, or demanding what is to be researched? Do you see research findings being politicized or manipulated by some to suit the needs of political views?

Do you find that in writing has been "forced to change/fit/edited" to such an extent that your meaning is altered?
