Hi so I need help with finding how to get grants as a student.
So I graduated this year and am planning on doing a Masters By Research in Botswana, primarily focusing on Leopards and estimating their Density, I have been told and recommended to look up here and other places for information to find groups that issue Grants for such projects. However, to this point, I haven't really found anything and although have found some websites and groups I feel I'm, for lack of a better phrase, running around like a headless Chicken with no clue what I can ask for or who I should be asking. If anyone has any advice or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

I propose to formulate a research topic, research thesis and justification for the selection of the topic and problem, and to include these issues as a new thread in the discussions of this Research Gate portal and in the comments to projects dealing with similar issues.

The best and fastest way to obtain such a grant is to discuss the matter with your supervisor. He must know the research organizations which provide funds for graduate research students or even better he might be able to include your name in a research team of one of his existing funded projects.
