Hi Everyone,

Currently, I am converting my Nickel-BDC-DABCO MOF to N-Doped Carbon material using Pyrolysis method in tube furnace.

Methodology: I am conducting this experiment at 800 degrees at 2,3,4 Degrees/min for 2-4 hr. under nitrogen atmosphere.

After the characterization: Raman analysis i didn't find the D (~1350 cm-1) and G (~1580 cm-1) peaks in my spectra but there are some unknown peaks mimicking the D and G peaks but not in the specific wavenumber (cm-1).

Can anyone tell me what are these peaks and how to get proper D and G peaks.

and also please give me your valuable suggestions to MOF conversion to carbon like " what should be the flow rate of gas or should I change the gas with Argon (Ar) and sample holder position etc.

your valuable suggestion will help me get through this.

Sincerely,

T Shanmuka Rao
