I am trying to study the immune response of Insects against nematode parasite for which I need to culture the insect Helicoverpa armigera the target pest of my study. I am looking for someone who could provide the larvae for culture purpose in my laboratory. Thanks in advance.
The spring brood of H armigera will soon be out, beginning February, I suppose. By March there will be billions on the wing. You could take specimens at light and let them lay eggs and obtain your very own culture. At the moment it is unlikely there will be larvae in the wild, for they will be in the pupal stage.
It may not help you, as suggested by Peter Smetacek, although you can try at list one time.
Laboratory culture and rearing is never a easy task, because with out proper stander protocol of rearing you cunt, it itself a work. My kind suggestion to you please visit your nearby Cotton field. If you got the infection, try to maintain the infected area of field of interested and capture it from field.

Nilotpol Paul and Peter S and metacek Sir thanks for the answering, I know the cultural practice of the Helicoverpa armigera in the lab and in general we collected them at larval stage. By providing them artificial diet, I have cultured them in the lab previously but this time I am in short of the larvae of H. armigera. .
