I am open to any other basins. I am interested in modelling rainfall-runoff using ANN, so data set needs to be large. Also, any other guide in this project is welcome.

You can download runoff/discharge data for any of the Indian river basin from IWRIS website: http://www.india-wris.nrsc.gov.in/
You can use the following global rainfall product for your purpose
1. "MSWEP"(http://www.gloh2o.org/)
2. "IMERG" (https://pmm.nasa.gov/data-access/downloads/gpm)
Both the above mention product are good in terms of spatial and temporal resolution.
Otherwise, you can purchase rainfall product from Indian Meteorological Department( [email protected]
