i want to measure pollutants from an industrial stack for a validation with a Gaussian dispersion model. What freqency of observations do i need to perform if i want to validate against a one month period?

I think the measurement time step should be as fine as possible, because in the future maybe you will need these measurements for another reason. My father always says to me that the small can become large (e.g. through integration in your case) but the large cannot be small.

Frequency of ( sampling ) observations depend upon your results. Adjust accordingly.

For instance if i simulate a one month simulation with hourly concentrations output from a gaussian model. What should be the needed freqency of the observations accordingly?
