Free living Nitrogen fixation determination by 15N2 isotope?

Hi,

I am trying to determine free living N fixation in soil by 15N2 isotope. I tried with several protocols at different amount of doubled labeled 15N2. I used different parameters, However, i did not see any difference between natural abundance samples and 15N enriched samples. In mass spec result there is no Atom% increasing at incubation 4d, 8d and 12d. Please suggest....
