What can be the explanation for a broad peak from 2000 to 2300 cm-1 in an infrared spectrum?

The samples I'm testing are electrodeposited chitosan thin films. In the spectra I can identify the correct chitosan peaks but there is this additional broad peak.

I can already exclude Nitriles or isocyanide.
