I need help to build a forced choice task in Qualtrics.
What I want is (quite) simple : I have a list of 50 easy activities and a list of 50 difficult activities.
For each trial, my participants have to choose between one random easy activity and one random difficult activity.
Thus, for each trial (x100), the question looks like :
Which activity do you prefer?
o Easy activity 4
o Difficult activity 7
I tried to create a loop and merge with field 1 filled by easy activities (one/row) and field 2 filled by difficult activities (one/row). Then, I created my question :
Which activity do you prefer?
o ${lm://Field/1}
o ${lm://Field/2}
But in the previewed question, answers are blank.
Does anyone ever build a question like that and could help me ?
I have done something simmilar. You should check weather your variables are defined properly (I'd use embedded data for this). Also you can use embedded data and JS to save responses with each loop repetition. If this doesn't do the job you can somewhat manualy implement it with proper branches and embedded data in survey flow.
