thanks prof. What about some institutions that take immunology as an extension of Physiology? Should they delay this aspect of physiology until after microbiology?

I agree with Dr. Hemida. Microbiology, ideally, must be studied prior to immunology. You have to be well-versed and oriented with the microanatomy and physiology of microbes to better understand how the animal body responses in their presence (immunology).
