To my understanding, there is no standard to be followed in this case. When a perform research that involves the participation of interviewees, I inform them as soon as I finish my research and have findings to report.

Thanks Orlando M Lourenço . I mean when one is interviewed for a job. What time must it take before one gets a response of having gotten the job or not? For me it borders on emotional abuse if an employer does not come back to you as soon as possible
