For Mitchondrial biogenesis, why we look for COX1/SDHA ratio but not SDHA/COX1 ratio?

There are many kits available which indicates the mitobiogenesis level based on COX1 to SDHA ratio. But I cannot understand the reason behind it. Why not to use SDHA/COX1 ratio as both of the proteins are from mitochondria.
