Frictional Head loss calculated by input velocity of the fluid flow, the density of the fluid, the orientation of the pipe system (how many bends, whether the bend is horizontal or vertical).
my understanding is that head loss in a pipe depends on flow so suppose in a pipe i have calculated that 1kg/cm2 is head loss at 100 ltr/hr flow .
Case 1 - i put a pump at staring end which will put 100 ltr/hr flow in this pipe at initial pressure of 4kg/cm2 then i conclude that at outlet i will get 100ltr/hr flow at 3 kg/cm2.
Case 2 - i put a pump at staring end which will put 100 ltr/hr flow in this pipe at initial pressure of 6/cm2 then i conclude that at outlet i will get 100ltr/hr flow at 5 kg/cm2.
Do you think my conclusions are correct
