If you are trying to represent dimensionless values on graph, the easiest way is to calculate some ratio with some reference value.

Rotation of each node should not affect the node displacement. And rotation of of the nodes should be in radians (which sometimes is observed as non-dimensional).

Yes, definitely the rotation shouldn't affect the displacements, as they are independent DoF. Its effect would be an initial curvature on the element, I suppose, and that curvature is what I am trying to represent graphically. There are some vibrational modes in my structure that are essentially dependent on that curvature.

I am sending a Figure to present the idea that I am trying to plot. I believe that I could increase the number of nodes in my model, and capture the effect of the curvature by using the local displacements DoF. That would be a solution, but with high computational cost, since the compiling time increases significantly with increasing the total number of DoF on the system.

Thus, I thought that there would be a way to use the curvature DoF and represent that graphically without having to increase the mesh refinement.

Have you tried to use node data (displacement and angle) as initial conditions for bending shape of Euler-Bernouli beams to obtain shape equation of the beams?

I haven't done it, but I didn't quite understand what you mentioned there. Do you mean to apply on the analytical formulation of the Euler-Bernoulli beam?

I had my second thought. It could help you with only some of the modes. Yes, I thought on analytical formulation of E-B beam.
