I am currently in the sixth semester of Electrical Engineering. I have been looking for a suitable final year project suggestion. I have a scope in Control systems, Embedded systems and computer vision. I want to do a project that will help me later for my Masters or for the job so I would prefer if you guys can tell me what kind of projects companies nowadays require.
You seem to be familiar with Control Room SCADA approaches, with User Interface considered. This has great future in being repurposed away from large and heavy infrastructure like power plants, transport networks, energy or telecom networks, towards fleet management, use supervision of IoT tools, etc...

Renaud Di Francesco I am happy to see your response on my discussion. I never heard of SCADA systems before until recently when I was offered to participate in the project regarding SCADA systems. The objective of the project is to build a SCADA system that uses AI technology to help identify major system issues and then fix those issues. I reached out to the internet to get an idea of how these systems work. I saw some quite interesting videos on the topic but I couldn't find any source that could help me understand SCADA deeply and how they are built. If you have any books or links that can help me understand, that how these systems work and can be built, then please suggest me. I would really appreciate that.
