Films based on HPMC are soluble in any conditions, no any matter of crosslinking reagent or technique, but I shall to made membranes for water treatment from it. I've tried crosslinking based on diisocyanates, glutaraldehyde, epichlorohydrine, terephtalic acid, oxalic acid, combination of urea+ECG+PEI, TEOS and TMOS, and in any case film was soluble in water. Which another method I could try to obtain non-soluble films or it is pointless idea?
