Hi Team,

While formulating the sustained formulation for the active ferrous fumarate with the Tapioca starch as rate/release limit ingredient in the process.

Process: Dry mixing , coated tablet, Bilayer

Quote: getting faster release of iron from the SR layer, whether any other factors will contribute for this issue ( Same RMs, Process,Parameters).

If anyone used Tapioca starch as rate limiting ingredient in your formulation or any other formulation pls comment your experience to understand the root cause.
