Has anyone worked with the lung metastatic model of Ewing's sarcoma?

We have studied the subcutaneous model, which presented a good engrafment in SCID mice. We are now analysing a metastatic model, but are not managing to home the tumour cells, injected i.v. (tail vein, 1 million cells) into the lungs.

Though, only one week has now passed from the injection day, and so we are thinking that it could just be too early as the cells might have not homed into the lungs yet.

Any ideas- experience to share?
