The thesis is that insights from evolutionary biology can help to explain/predict the development of hard and soft law (legal not scientific) in terms of 'phenotype' if not 'genotype' (genotype = statute law or decided case law in this context). Phenotype might include 'symbolic law', i.e. law nudging rather than prescribing. Any comments would be welcome.
