We have revisited some of ideas published in Gaoue et al (2017) to accommodate into the new theory.
It is great to see such development/interest in this field. If sustained, I anticipate that meta-analyses on clear ethnobotanical research questions will become common in near future. In the meantimes it is critically important to encourage further discussion about the role of theory in ethnobotanical research and suggest clear framework to move the discipline forward.
