Can anyone list some endangered plant species in India and what kind of preventive measures should be taken to conserve these kind of plant species?

@ Ramya, some endangered plant species in India are:1. Amentotaxus assamica, also known as Assam catkin yew, threatened in Arunachal Pradesh 2. Psilotum nudum, also known as Moa, skeleton, fork fern, and whisk fern, threatened in Karnataka 3. Diospyros celibica, also known as Ebony tree, threatened in Karnataka 4. Actinodaphne lawsonii,threatened in Kerala etc.
The preventive measures include in situ conservation measures, e.g. delineation and safeguarding of protected areas such as biosphere reserves, national parks, , and reserved/protected forests. Botanical garden are the most conventional methods of ex-situ conservation where endangered species can be preserved.
