While doing a preliminary research on Employability of Youth of different nations i came across survey reports conducted in different nations like SCANS report, India Skills Report in India etc. I doubt the Genuineness of such surveys. Is it possible to catch all elements of Employability in such an exhaustive survey. Is it possible to compare the Employability status of youth of different nations.
it is possible. because we in Malaysia usually we refer ministry of education annual survey of employ-ability. every year, before convocation students must fill up online survey before get their scroll. many employability studies in Malaysia used this survey as the instrument. it is easily available via online. https://www.mohe.gov.my/ms/
Employability survey report that may be reliable will include a combination of report from higher institutions' records, aptitute tests to be given and practical sessions to be observed by the researcher or assistants. The output will also be examined for proficiency. This will make the data collected or reported to be reliable to a great extent. When you rely only on self report of employability, or certificates that may not be genuine, the outcome may not be reliable. Yes, it is possible to compare the employability of youths from various nations when you are sure that the data is reliable. You may have an international collaborative research whereby the procedures and expectations are clearly stated and colleagues from such countries of interest be involved in the data collection to ensure that the standards or methods of data collection will yield the required reliable results that will enable the comparison to be made reliably.

While going through literature on employability i found that there are lot many aspects that determine the employability of an individual, lot many psychological and socio-demographic factors come into play while determining the employability. I was wondering whether all these facts can be encompassed to such exhaustive surveys even though we keep vigil on data collection.
