Hi All,

I am writing a damage-based UMAT in LS-Dyna for a Kevlar based material, having compression properties which are about 10% from the tensile. Single element and coupon tests shows good correlation with the experimental data, however, when performing impact test, elements which are directly in contact with the impactor experiences distortion which leads to a premature end for the simulation. Perhaps if anyone has any idea or suggestion, this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
