I am trying to run a potentiostatic EIS on a bare GCE using Gamry instrument interface 1000. I did the experiment in 0.1 M KCl containing 5 mM of potassium ferricyanide & ferrocyanide. I have attached the experiment setup here as well. I try to fit the randles equivalent circuit to my result, but it does not show the typical semicircle (kinetically controlled region) with 45 degree straight line (diffusionally controlled region). Did I do anything wrong with the setup? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Simple and fast option, just Apply DC voltage in hydrogen or oxygen evolution potential range and you well get the semicircle
Artur Braun Thanks for your recommendation. Do I perform the anodization using chronoamperometry technique? And in what supporting electrolyte should I use for the anodization?
