By doing CV, CA experiments of Pt and Ti in electrochemical cell, I have gotten a lot of data. Using that, I have calculated diffusion coefficient using Cottrell equation. I wish to compare and study how this diffusion coefficient is changing with respect to chloride concentration and with respect to Pt /Ti. The purpose of this study is to compare the titanium's corrosion performance with Platinum.
I have performed Chronoamperometry experiment for Platinum and titanium wires to prove that Ti is competetive to Pt in electrochemical testing and got current response data. With this I plotted the current response vs time. Both the metals showed similar behaviour. I have calculated diffusion coefficient using Cottrell equation. I wish to compare and study how this diffusion coefficient is changing with respect to chloride concentration and with respect to Pt /Ti. For sure this will not be the diffusion of Platinum or titanium ions, the possible case is Chloride ions moving the surface of Pt/Ti (if I am not wrong). Hope now you could understand the problem.
