I am interested in how EIS might be performed in systems that utilize solid electrolytes. Would standard settings (10 mV rms from 1 mHz -> 100 kHz) be advisable in systems such as these?
For EIS of a system having a solid electrolyte, e.g., YSZ. One could try a voltage amplitude of 0.1 to 1V. Considering the frequency range you are using, one set of measurements should not be that time-consuming. Therefore, I would try increasing voltage step by step until you get the resolvable semicircle.
