I want to ask whenever I perform EIS for Na||Na symmetrical cells the Nyquist plot is something like shown in figure but in literature there is perfect semi circle. this in raw data no equivalent circuit is applied.
Note: I am new in electrochemistry

why inductor semicircle appeared. can we ignore it?. what it is the importance of this inductor semicircle?

Muhammad Ali , Most likely it is due to cable effects or internal circuit (within the potentiostat). You can take a short piece of copper wire, (e.g., 1 cm long) and measure its impedance spectrum in the same frequency range. Remember to apply only a small potential magnitude (e.g., 0.1 mV), otherwise you will overload the instrument!
Ideally, it should give you a phase value of zero and a constant magnitude. If, at high frequencies, you find it showing inductive behavior, you can assume that it is the result of cable/instrument effects.
