You did not mention about the dose of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (ω-3 PUFAs) that you applied. The cause of your result may be due to over dose of ω-3 PUFAs. The result that you found is unpredictable, unusual, and against the previous established research.I am concerned about your findings and request you for more concentration and invigilation in this study. I have attached a review article proving ω-3 PUFAs reduce liver fat content.
Fish oil supplements (4 g) for 3 months improved lipid and glucose levels, liver function and the circulating biomarkers FGF21 and CK18 fragment, and performed anti-inflammation functions in patients with NAFLD associated with hyperlipidemia. The effects of fish oil on lipid and glucose levels and liver functions were positively correlated with the reductions of FGF21 and prostaglandin E2.
