I am studying on factors influencing another variable.
There are 7 factors that has scales adapted from other sources.
The variable i am studying required new scale.
The question is when i run my EFA,
what extraction would be the best?
What rotation should i use?
If i have an item that doesn't load in a scale that already has a theory/ model, do i still delete it as it is an important item?
