Should there be any guidelines which will prevent editors to publish or atleast limit the number of publications in journals for which they have been choosen editor's. I came across many journals where editor's and Reviewers use their highness for publishing unlimited number of articles in journals.
Is there any solutions for this corruption
It might not be a corruption always ! the editor might be a expert that field .. he or she can publish high quality papers in the journal
about editorials , does it really matters ! Does the editorials contribute to anything , yes it can generate ideas!
It does not matter, whether it is editorial or original, everything in literaure contributes to science
Sometimes Editors face limitation of Space while sometimes, they have enough space and shortage of articles.
Depends on the impact and submission rate of that journal.

There can be arguments in favour of both yes and no. If they are peer reviewed papers, I think there should not be any problem. Blinded peer review takes care of the bias too.
Some balance should be maintained. Obviously, every other article in the journal carrying the editor's name on it is overkill and may even bring disrepute to the journal. However, if it is a reasonable proportion, handled by a different editor, and following standard peer review practices, I do not see an issue. After all, editors are also expected to engage in active research themselves. Many editors author editorial articles themselves, may co-author, or invite thematic guest editorials.
I guess a 10% rule should be fine. No more than 10% of the total articles of the journal AND no more than 10% of the author's total publication in the journal he/she is editor of. Yes, an editor is of course more likely to view his/her work favorably during the peer review process.

Agree with Jibril, a guideline is needed. I think 10% is too high. I would recommend a maximum of 3 publications per year.
The globe is widely open access, but still, the publishers must control the limitation of publications. If not, they should be banned legally. Guidelines must be required in publishing as well as in the personal growth of an editor-cum-writer.
An external peer review board for such situations which may comprise of another Editor or a Research Expert of the same cadre or higher, who is not in direct association with the Editor publishing his own article in the journal where he is the Chief Editor can help. Blinded peer reviews can then be conducted by third parties to ensure the genuinity of the presented content therein. As other learned contributors to this question have mentioned, I second that there should be a guideline about the same with subsequent counter-provisions like the one stated here or something similar to maintain the concerned Journal's repute.
Editor publishing articles having him as author or co-author should have been seen as an unethical practice and shows the conflict of interest. There should be limitations on apart from an editorial he/ she should not allow to include a certain number of papers having him as a contributor. Following are suggestions
1. An Editor should not include any article having him/her as the corresponding author
2. An Editor should not include any article having him/ her as the first author
3. An Editor should declare the article has been gone through a rigorous reviewing process and justify the need to publish an article in his/her own journal.
I would support this guideline. I have also seen many cases where this has happened as well including one of the leaders in one of my areas of interest. He publishes one or two each issue at the least.
Definitely, strict guidelines are required as these journals are abused by editor's which should be prevented.
Editors can touch on some important topics in their editorial sections. However, a number of which of course should be limited. If an editor wants to publish in their own journal it should be high-powered research or some nicely conducted systematic review. All these should undergo a transparent peer-review process by external team. After all genuine scrutiny, if the chief editor finds it suitable and "Novel" they can be allowed. As most of their reason for rejection is "Lack of Novelty". Also, APC is not applicable to the editors and they have some quota in their journal to publish or recommend someone's work. Hence, high-quality research by the editorial team can be allowed, but it should not block someone’s hard work by rejecting their deserving articles.
I also think that editors should not be allowed to publish articles in their own journals. Because if their work is genuine and justified then why they need the same platform.
