Dear all I am trying to convert an EDF+D file to a .mat file
In order to do so i can do it indirectly by converting EDF+D to EDF+C using EDFbrowser then combining the different files and the convert it again .mat with different functions in matlab.
My question is if there is a direct way to convert from EDF +D to mat or if there is a way to automate the procedure without using the EDFbrowser GUI.

You should be able to do the conversion directly to .mat, as long as you know everything about your EDF+D file structure.

Yes I did a manual code it was easy, there was a luck of documentation on what exactly the discontinuity was.
