Ecotourism had some advantages for the local people economy. In the tourist sites, primates attract a large number of visitors every year and they are favorable for their potential benefits to tourism. However, the tourism has some disadvantages for primates. The contact between humans and primates and the inclusion of human food in their diet can have negative effects on their ecology and behavior. The tourism also encourages the capture of primates.
yes ecotourism is solution for the conservation of primates with tourism but it need to develop very carefully now a days in most countries ecotourism became eco friendly construction and development but as per my view ecotourism means use resource as available format dont change them and dont change any habitat and enjoy with 100 % participation of local people
Wildlife conservation and Tourism are now tightly connected. Apart from having large no. of advantages, it may also have some adverse effects as you suspect. But what I have seen, for primate conservation, the vulnerable ones (eg. Lion-Tailed Macaque) are kept with priority norms in most of the tourism parks in India. But at the same time strong law enforcement system should be maintained in order to avoid any nuisance. So far the system is very much successful in India.

oui c'est important de ne pas altérer le comportement sauvages des animaux et surtout le comportement alimentaire car on risque de faire devenir les animaux dépendants de l'homme pour se nourrir, en plus des risques que présentent les aliments artificiels pour la santé. Merci

Ecotourism is assumed to have economic benefits for the local people and wildlife conservation efforts on global perspective. However; this is not deeply the true situation with wild animals especially in Sub-Saharan West African region where all wildlife are targeted for kill or capture for immediate socioeconomic challenges of the inhabitants. Actually, wildlife constitute strong bases of attractions in ecotourism, but wildlife poaching at will can hardly make ecotourism relevant to the well being of local communities. It is true that there are many adverse consequences of human-wildlife interactions some of which are food poison, disruption in physiological performance, growth and zoonotic spread.
