Most of the promised NLO Material are very valie for common optical applications. But lot of literature describes the applications for Thz. But these Materials are now also used in telecommunication and optical fiber optics.

What is the rise or response time of DSTMS, HMQ-TMS and OH1 or similar (best < 2 ns) and is it capable for mid infrared telecomm.applications? Are tables with specifications are availaibe?!
