Can I assume that the double alkali phosphate NaCrP2O7 has a structure like NASICON and is an ionic conductor? What electro-physical properties can be expected from the coating if NaCrP2O7 is introduced into the composition of the dielectric composition?
For sure, it is not NASICON because it has different stoichiometry. But the structure of NaCrP2O7 also allows the ionic conductivity.
As for the electrical properties, obviously the grain-boundary part of the impedance will be affected. Most likely, the electrical properties will be affected by the surrounding atmosphere, the effect extensively studied in case of the NASICON-based gas sensors.
But the preparation of the coating might be not that trivial. The temperature necessary for crystallization of such phosphates is often high enough to promote the chemical interaction with the substrate leading to the unpredictable, often glassy, surface layers.
